An SVG is a drawing that can be any size, while a PNG has a fixed number of pixels. Drop your SVG files here, PNG is already chosen and the size set to 2,048 pixels on the long side; pick its own size or 512 to 4,096 pixels instead. The drawing is rendered fresh at that size, so edges stay crisp, and transparent areas stay transparent. Nothing is uploaded.

How it works

SVG to PNG Converter is a web page that does its work on your own device. The file you choose is opened by your browser, changed there and saved from there; it is never sent to a server, so there is no copy of it anywhere to delete, no queue and no waiting for an upload. Most online tools of this kind send your file to their servers and work on it there, and many keep it for a while. This one does not. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it, and the result downloads the moment it is ready.

Which size to choose

512 pixels suits icons and small logos on a page, 1,024 to 2,048 suits slides, documents and social posts, and 4,096 suits print or anything that will be zoomed. A larger PNG is sharper and heavier; the SVG itself stays the better choice wherever it is accepted.

Questions

Why does my SVG look different in the PNG?

An SVG that uses a web font or an outside image may draw differently once it is a picture. Convert the text to outlines in your design program before exporting the SVG.
