SSC application forms ask for a scanned signature as a JPEG between 10 KB and 20 KB, about 6.0 cm wide and 2.0 cm high, and reject signatures that are blurred or too small. Take a phone photo of your signature on white paper and drop it here. Signing for SSC
Sign in black or blue ink on plain white paper, larger than you normally would, and take the photo in good light from directly above. SSC's own guidance shows small signatures in a large blank area among the most common reasons for rejection, so press Fit signature to make it fill the frame.

SSC's current forms capture your photograph with your computer or phone camera during the application, so there is no photo file to upload. Sit in a well-lit place against a plain background, without a cap or glasses, when the form asks for it.
