- Paste or build the titlePaste a title into the box, or open Build a title from its parts and fill in the brand, type, colour and size.

eBay gives you 80 characters and its Seller Center says to use as many of them as you can. Fill in the brand, model or type, colour, style, size and model number and the builder puts them together in eBay's recommended order; or paste a title you already have. The checks count characters against the 80, tell you when room is left, and flag words in all capitals, repeated words, special characters and filler words that no buyer searches for. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How it works
eBay Title Builder is a web page that does its work on your own device. Everything you type or choose is worked out by your browser and never sent to a server, so nothing is stored and there is nothing to delete. There is no account, no sign-up and no limit on how often you use it.
eBay's own guidance, in short
You have 80 characters, so use as many as you can. Include the brand, model or type, colour, style and even the model number. Avoid special characters and irrelevant words. eBay's own examples: "Ann Taylor Women's Sweater 100% Cotton Black Yellow Sleeves Size 6" and "Nike Boys Blue Lace-Up Sneakers Size 3 AB0011-234".
Questions
Should I use all 80 characters on eBay?
eBay's advice is yes, as long as every word is something a buyer might search for. The tool tells you how many characters are left, and flags filler.
