Amazon can suppress or rewrite a title that breaks its requirements. Paste yours and the tool checks it against Amazon's own published rules: 75 characters including spaces, none of the characters ! $ ? _ { } ^ ¬ ¦, no decorative symbols, no all capitals, no word used more than twice, and no promotional or subjective phrases such as free shipping, best seller or hot item. It also points out spelled-out numbers, lower-case words that Amazon asks to be capitalised, and the recommended order: brand, flavour or style, product type, key attribute, colour, size or pack count, model number. Nothing you type is sent anywhere.
How it works
Amazon Title Checker is a web page that does its work on your own device. Everything you type or choose is worked out by your browser and never sent to a server, so nothing is stored and there is nothing to delete. There is no account, no sign-up and no limit on how often you use it.
Amazon's own requirements, in short
Titles must not exceed 75 characters including spaces, must not contain promotional phrases, must not use ! $ ? _ { } ^ ¬ ¦ or decorative symbols, and must not contain the same word more than twice apart from prepositions, articles and conjunctions. Amazon's best practice adds: no all caps, a capital at the start of each word, numerals rather than words, abbreviated measurements, and details that no longer fit moved to the item highlights field.
Questions
Why is my Amazon title not showing?
Amazon says a title that breaks its requirements or contains inaccurate information may be corrected automatically or left out of search results, and that suppressed titles can be seen in Manage All Inventory. Fix the title to meet the requirements and allow 24 to 48 hours for the change to show.
