GPA Calculator: Your GPA from letter grades and credits, weighted or unweighted, with the grades you need for a target.

Type the GPA and total credits from your transcript, then this term's courses with grades and credits. The new cumulative GPA appears straight away. Add the GPA you want and the credits you still have to take to see the average you need from here, or whether the target is out of reach.

How it works

Cumulative GPA Calculator is a web page that does its work on your own device. Everything you type or choose is worked out by your browser and never sent to a server, so nothing is stored and there is nothing to delete. There is no account, no sign-up and no limit on how often you use it.

Why one term moves it less each year

A cumulative GPA averages every credit you have taken, so the more credits behind it, the less a single term can change it. Fifteen credits of straight As lift a 3.0 GPA on 15 credits to 3.5, but on 90 credits only to about 3.14.
