Privacy policy: Unlock PDF

What this tool does with your file
- The PDF you choose, and the password you type, are used by a program running inside your browser on your own device. Neither is uploaded to us or to anyone else. The program itself is downloaded from our own site the first time you use the tool.
- Nothing is stored. Closing the tab discards everything, and no copy is kept anywhere.
- There is no account and no cookie. We count visits with a code that changes every day and cannot identify you, plus the site that linked you here and your device type, and how many PDFs are unlocked: only whether a password or a restriction was removed, never the file or the password.
This page covers Unlock PDF only. The site-wide Privacy Policy covers everything else, and the Terms of Use apply to every tool.
