How to use SSL Expiry Checker
- Type the websiteType a domain such as example.com, or paste the full address.
- Check itPress Check. For a mail server or other service, pick its port first.
- Read the verdictSee whether browsers trust it, the days left, the names covered and the chain.
Type a website to see the expiry date of its certificate and the days left, flagged when under 30. Most certificates now renew automatically every 60 to 90 days; a short count with no renewal in sight usually means the renewal job has stopped working.
How it works
SSL Expiry Checker is a web page. Our server connects to the site you name to read its certificate; nothing is stored. There is no account and no sign-up; to keep it quick for everyone, each connection has an hourly limit, well above normal use.
Shorter certificates are coming
Browsers are cutting the longest allowed certificate life step by step from 398 days to 47 days by 2029, so automatic renewal is becoming essential. Check now and then that it is still running.
