What this tool does with your file
- The PDF you choose, and the passwords you type, are used by a program running inside your browser on your own device. Neither is uploaded to us or to anyone else. The program itself is downloaded from our own site the first time you use the tool.
- Nothing is stored. Closing the tab discards everything, and no copy is kept anywhere; in particular, no password is kept.
- There is no account and no cookie. We count visits with a code that changes every day and cannot identify you, plus the site that linked you here and your device type, and how many PDFs are protected: only the encryption strength and whether an opening password or limits were set, never the file or the passwords.
