Common questions
How many days until Christmas?
Open this page: the countdown to Christmas runs live at the top, in days, hours, minutes and seconds, and in sleeps.
When is Thanksgiving this year?
Thanksgiving in the US is the fourth Thursday of November. Tap Thanksgiving to see this year's date and the time left.
Can I count down to my own date?
Yes. Open Count down to your own date, type what is happening and the date, and add a time if it matters. Copy link shares it.
Does the countdown use my time zone?
Yes. It counts to midnight, or the time you set, in the time zone of the device it is opened on.
What are sleeps?
The number of nights left before the day, the way children count down to Christmas.
Is anything sent anywhere?
No. The countdown runs in your browser. A link you copy holds the date and name in the address itself; nothing is stored by us.
