How to use 5 Minute Typing Test
- Pick a lengthChoose 1, 2, 3 or 5 minutes.

- Read your scoreWhen time is up, see your WPM, accuracy and mistakes, and your best so far.
The test is set to five minutes of continuous passages. It shows the pace you can keep up rather than a short burst, which is what employers' typing tests usually measure. Your words per minute, accuracy and mistakes appear when the time is up.
How it works
5 Minute Typing Test is a web page that does its work on your own device. Everything you type or choose is worked out by your browser and never sent to a server, so nothing is stored and there is nothing to delete. There is no account, no sign-up and no limit on how often you use it.
Pacing yourself
Start at a speed you can keep without mistakes. Accuracy that drops in the last minute is a sign to slow down a little at the start.
