Common questions
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The pages are drawn into images by your browser on your own device. The document is never sent to us or to anyone else, and nothing is stored.
How do I convert a PDF to JPG?
Drop the PDF in, leave JPG and Standard selected, and press Download all (ZIP) for every page, or Download under a single page. The ZIP holds one JPG per page, named in page order.
Which DPI should I choose?
Standard, 150 DPI, for screens, slides and email. Print, 300 DPI, for printing or reading small text zoomed in. Screen, 72 DPI, for a quick preview or a small attachment. Each step up makes files about four times larger.
JPG or PNG?
JPG for photographs and anything you share, because the files are smaller. PNG for pages of text, lines and diagrams, where it keeps every edge exact.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Type them under Pages, such as 1-3, 7, and only those are saved. Every page also has its own Download button.
Can it open a password-protected PDF?
Yes, if you know the password. The tool asks for it and opens the file on your device; the password is not sent anywhere or kept.
Why is a page smaller than I asked for?
A very large page, such as a poster, at 300 DPI would make an image bigger than a browser can hold, so it is saved at the largest size that works, and the size under the thumbnail says so.
Is it free?
Yes, completely free, with no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on pages.
Nothing happens when I pick a file
The tool runs entirely in your browser, so a very old browser can fail silently. Try the current Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. Your files are never uploaded anywhere.
