Resizing a PDF usually means making the file smaller so a form or portal accepts it. Drop the PDF here, choose Exact size and type the limit, such as 100 KB or 1 MB, or pick a quality, and the tool finds the sharpest version that fits. Text is never turned into a picture, so it stays sharp and searchable. Everything happens in your browser, so the document is never uploaded.
How it works
PDF Resizer is a web page that does its work on your own device. The file you choose is opened by your browser, changed there and saved from there; it is never sent to a server, so there is no copy of it anywhere to delete, no queue and no waiting for an upload. Most online tools of this kind send your file to their servers and work on it there, and many keep it for a while. This one does not. There is no account, no watermark and no limit on how often you use it, and the result downloads the moment it is ready.
Resizing the file or the pages
This page changes the file size in KB or MB. To change the page size itself, for example from Letter to A4, use Resize PDF Pages, which keeps the file size about the same.
