The page starts with the ceiling of a 12 by 12 foot room and the walls switched off. A ceiling's area is the room's length times its width: 144 square feet here, so two coats at 350 square feet a gallon need about 0.8 gallons, which rounds to one gallon. Tick Paint the walls to add them.
